This event is remote and will happen on zoom. Upon registration, you will receive a zoom link and calendar invite. The event will take place from 12:00-1:30pm.

The event will began with a presentation from Tori McDermott, Jennifer Schell, Petra Banks, and Lia Ferguson presenting on a project that was support by an Ideation Studio Seed Fund, focused on a Problem-Based Learning module for UAF classes.

After the presentation you will be sent out into breakout rooms for an ideation activity.

An Ideation Studio is a series of workshops intended to help researchers, faculty, staff, and students work together to solve Alaska challenges across silos. Participants network with others, come up with new ideas, expand on existing ideas, and discover how others are solving complex and wicked problems at UAF. Participants automatically qualify to apply for up to $20,000 in seed funding.

Ideation Studios and partner programs Arctic Fellow Awards, Patents to Products, and Peter Webley鈥檚 problem-based curricular initiatives are all funded by Center for Innovation through the Office of Naval Research RISE-UP grant.
