SEASON AND HOURS OF OPERATION
The garden is open for summer visitors from 8 am to 8 pm every day from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Outside these dates, the garden beds are put to rest for the winter, but visitors are welcome.
This winter, paths will be cleared of snow, and from December 18 through January 17, Arctic Lights will be lit from 5 pm - 9 pm Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, with a special lighting on New Year's Eve for the UAF Fireworks.
ADMISSIONS
Admission is a suggested $8.00 per person. (All donations go toward Garden programs and operations)

We ask that all visitors please be respectful of the garden – it is an active research facility in addition to being beautiful and relaxing! If you have any inquiries or would like to ask about accommodations, please contact us at gbg@alaska.edu
Pets are not allowed in the garden except for service animals

We love group visitors! Due to continuous maintenance, planting and construction, we ask that all group visitors contact us ahead of time – especially school groups with lots of children! To schedule a group visit, please send us an email and a team member will reach out to you!
